Crafting Excellence: The Heart of BEMO's Managerial Approach

At BEMO, we've always been a remote company, growing quickly and navigating the always-changing waters of a dynamic digital workspace. This unique setup brings its own set of challenges, especially for our management team.  

  • How can we communicate effectively and efficiently? 

  • How do we set our teams up for success? 

  • How can we support our employees and nurture professional growth? 

We have some managers who've been in the game for years and others who are just starting out. With a wide variety of managers with different amounts of experience, BEMO realized the importance of strengthening our management training.  

Our aim? To ensure every BEMO manager has the right tools to guide their teams well.

 

How is BEMO Ensuring This? 

Earlier this year, we began our search for the best management development program. Keeping in mind our remote nature and the different time zones our team operates in, we wanted a program that was flexible and truly understood our managers' needs. 

A breakthrough moment arrived: we discovered this brilliant course by The Global Growth Institute. Their World-Class Manager Program has been amazing. Offering 24 comprehensive modules on topics ranging from Great Goal Setting to Optimizing Your Time, this program includes engaging videos, practical worksheets, and an insightful book, How to Become a World-Class Manager, that depicts a roadmap to management success. Crafting Excellence: The Heart of BEMO's Managerial Approach

Our deep dive into the program began in July, and so far this journey has been nothing short of transformative. Every two weeks, a new topic is brought to the table, each one a treasure trove of valuable knowledge. Our managers dedicate just an hour of their time and emerge with actionable insights ready to be applied in real time.  

Following the self-driven learning, our bi-weekly manager meet-ups have become a vibrant platform to exchange experiences and stories. And there's more! After every set of six modules, we gain the benefit of a coaching session with an expert from the Global Growth Institute. 

With Module Five currently underway, our enthusiasm hasn't waned a bit. The synergy between self-paced online learning and our interactive sessions is striking the perfect balance. BEMO's CEO, Bruno Lecoq, agrees: “So far, I love the program. Our entire leadership team and all managers are currently going through the training. I have no doubt it will positively impact all our team members, managers, and our company.”
