The Birth of BeMo
The BeMo team has been active in using enterprise project management tools behind the scenes for over 18 years. In fact, Bruno Lecoq and Joel Lachance, the brains behind BeMo, are the same brains that worked at Microsoft in the Entertainment and Devices and Human Resources divisions to roll out Microsoft Project 2003, 2007, and 2010 – the industry leading project management software relied upon daily by over 20 million users.
BeMo opened its doors in July 2010 with the launch of Microsoft Project 2010 promising a completely new, web-based evolution of hosted EPM technologies. At launch, BeMo became the first company in the world to offer Project Server 2010 provisioned in the cloud in less than 30 min. Since then, the company has evolved as a premier Software as a Service (SaaS) provider specializing in Hosted Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and Hosted Unified Communication and Collaboration (UCC) solutions built on Microsoft SharePoint, Project Server, Office 365, Exchange, and Lync Server with Enterprise Voice.
The Growth of BeMo
In 2012, BeMo secured strategic investments from two highly reputable Venture Capitalists (VC)’s - Kima Ventures and Zgarage. These investments allow BeMo to maintain its phenomenal annual 3-digit growth since inception.

Bruno Lecoq - Co-Founder, President
Bruno is the President and co-founder of BeMo. Bruno defines the company's vision and direction, sets strategy and drives overall business goals.
Prior to founding BeMo with Joel Lachance, Bruno spent 17 years at Microsoft serving in multiple divisions and product teams including MS-DOS, Windows, Exchange, Office, the Hardware and Microsoft Supply Chain Group. Beginning as a Software Localization Engineer, Bruno moved up through the ranks of the organization to become the Director of Business Processes. Bruno is Black Belt Six Sigma and PMP trained.
Joel Lachance, BSEE, MSEE, MCTS, Eng. - Co-Founder and VP of Business Development
Joel directs operations, international sales, marketing and strategic relationships.
For the past 20 years before joining BeMo, Joel occupied various strategic management roles in industry leading enterprises such as Gateway and Microsoft. In that time, he became renowned for establishing product life-cycle processes and implementing global program and information management best practices for the consumer electronics industry. During his 11 years with the Microsoft Entertainment and Devices division, Joel pioneered the deployment of numerous collaboration and workflow applications based on platforms such as Microsoft Project Server, Microsoft SharePoint, and SQL Server.
Artem Snurnikov, Technology Architect
Artem is the BeMo Technology Architect. Artem enables the company's technology vision, defines and drives BeMo Cloud Architecture and is responsible for the Architecture, Engineering, and Release Management organizations. He oversees all new product development, back office, and product line enhancements for the organization. Artem architected and built the company’s fast-growing line of managed cloud products and services.
James Bulmer, MCP, MCTS, MCITP, MCT - Partners Program and Technical Sales Manager
James manages the Technical Sales of BeMo and is in charge of BeMo’s Partners Program. James has more than 30 years experience as a management consultant specializing in process and project management. James has worked with Microsoft Project since 1997 and has been involved with Microsoft’s Enterprise Management Solution (EPM) since the introduction of Project Server in 2002. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in Managing Projects with Microsoft Office Project 2007, Enterprise Project Management with Microsoft Office Project Server 2007, and Microsoft Project 2010, Managing Projects. He is a Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) in Microsoft Office Project Server 2007Managing Projects and Programs and a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT).
Khurram Hussain, PMP, MCTS, CSSBB – Technical Support Manager
Khurram oversees the implementation and ongoing support of BeMo’s portfolio of PPM and UCC applications. Khurram and his team manage first level customer support, the Continuous Improvement Program and making sure that any BeMo customer issue is addressed in a timely fashion and that lessons learned are put into practice.
